1. Introduction

1.1 Organizer / Promoter

The Little Lagos ADM RMX Challenge (“the Competition”) is organized and promoted by YourCompanyName (“the Organizer”) in collaboration with Megalectrics Limited (“Beat FM” or “the Radio Station”), where relevant.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs and any additional or specific rules (“Specific Rules”) that may be stated in the Competition’s promotional materials or on the Organizer’s or the Radio Station’s website or social media platforms. In the event of any direct conflict between these T&Cs and the Radio Station’s general Competition Terms, the stricter or more specific requirement (as determined by the Organizer or the Radio Station) shall apply.

1.3 Competition Period

The start and end date/time of the Competition (“Entry Period”) will be communicated through official promotional channels. All times will be based on Nigeria time unless otherwise specified.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Restriction

The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. If you are under 18, you must provide written consent from a parent or guardian (where legally permissible).

2.2 Residency

Unless otherwise specified, the Competition is open globally, subject to local laws that may restrict or prohibit participation. However, certain prize fulfillment requirements (e.g., travel, attendance at specific events) may be available only to Nigerian residents or subject to Nigerian law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

The Organizer and the Radio Station accept no responsibility for entries not received, lost, delayed, or corrupted due to technical or network issues. Entries received after the specified closing time will be disqualified but may still be subject to standard network charges (where applicable).

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 License Grant

By entering, you grant the Organizer and the Radio Station (and their authorized partners) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, perform, distribute, and display your submitted material (including audio, images, and any associated text) for promotional and commercial purposes related to the Competition. This includes reposting on social media platforms, websites, and broadcast channels.

4.2 Ownership

You retain full ownership of your intellectual property rights in your submission, subject to the license granted in Clause 4.1.

4.3 Credit

Where feasible, the Organizer and/or the Radio Station will credit participants when their submissions are used, but no fee or compensation beyond the prize (if any) will be paid.

5.1 Fair Use of Third-Party Content

Any incorporation of third-party content (e.g., samples, stems, or images) must comply with copyright laws, licenses, or fair use provisions.

5.2 Social Media and Promotion

Participants agree that submitted content may be shared across social media and other promotional platforms without further consent or compensation.

The Organizer and the Radio Station are committed to fostering an environment of inclusivity. The Competition is open to individuals of all backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, abilities, and orientations.

Any form of discrimination, exclusion, or hateful conduct will not be tolerated and may lead to immediate disqualification.

7. Judging and Winner Selection

7.1 Panel of Judges

Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of industry professionals and/or representatives from the Organizer and the Radio Station. Decisions of the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal.

Winners may be required to provide proof of identity, eligibility, and compliance with these T&Cs before any prize is awarded.

Prizes (including any travel or holiday prizes) are as described in the Competition’s promotional materials. Imagery is for illustrative purposes only, and actual details may vary.

Certain prizes (e.g., event tickets, travel arrangements) may be subject to third-party terms (e.g., venue rules, airline rules, visa requirements). Winners and guests/travel companions must abide by these terms.

Personal data (e.g., name, contact details, and submission materials) will be collected and processed by the Organizer and the Radio Station for the purpose of administering the Competition, fulfilling prizes, and publicizing winners.

9.2 Data Sharing

Personal data will not be shared with unaffiliated third parties without explicit consent unless required by law or necessary for prize fulfillment (e.g., sharing details with a travel agent).

9.3 Data Subject Rights

Participants have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data at any time by contacting the Organizer at Contact Email.

9.4 International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside of Nigeria (or your local jurisdiction), appropriate safeguards will be put in place in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Publicity and Use of Entries

10.1 Publicity

By entering, you agree (if requested by the Organizer or the Radio Station) to participate in reasonable publicity or promotional activities, including the use of your name, photograph, likeness, social media handle, and/or audio/video recordings.

10.2 Further Use

The Organizer and/or the Radio Station may record, photograph, or film you and your entry for promotional and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity. You agree that you shall not be entitled to any fee for such use beyond any prize awarded.

10.3 Non-Disclosure

Participants must not publicize details of the Competition or their submissions in ways that conflict with the Official T&Cs or instructions from the Organizer or Radio Station.

11. Liability

11.1 Organizer and Radio Station Liability

11.2 Participant’s Liability

Participants are solely responsible for their own submissions and will indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and the Radio Station from any claims arising from third parties in relation to those submissions.

11.3 Force Majeure and Cancellation

The Organizer and the Radio Station reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition if unforeseeable circumstances (e.g., technical failure, fraud, or events beyond their control) prevent its lawful operation. No liability shall attach to the Organizer or the Radio Station in such circumstances.

12. Disqualification and Exclusion

12.1 Breach of T&Cs

If you breach these T&Cs or act in a way that could bring the Organizer, the Radio Station, or any associated entity into disrepute, you may be disqualified and any prizes forfeited.

12.2 Cheating or Manipulation

Any attempt to manipulate or tamper with the entry process, including bulk or automated entries, is prohibited. Such entries will be disqualified, and repeat offenders may be banned from future Competitions.

12.3 Exclusion Period

The Organizer or the Radio Station reserves the right to impose an exclusion period (e.g., six months) if you win a prize valued above a certain threshold or win multiple prizes within a short period.

13. Additional Holiday/Travel Prize Terms (if applicable)

13.1 Passport, Visa & Health Requirements

Winners and guests are solely responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, and comply with health or vaccination requirements.

13.2 Travel Insurance

Unless stated otherwise, travel insurance is not included. If offered, details will be provided separately; otherwise, winners and guests should procure their own coverage.

13.3 Force Majeure for Travel

In the event of postponement or cancellation of travel arrangements or events due to weather, scheduling conflicts, pandemics, or other forces beyond control, the Organizer and Radio Station will endeavor to provide a suitable alternative but are not liable for any loss or additional costs.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 Governing Law

These T&Cs (and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them) are governed by Nigerian law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these T&Cs is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
